Introduction

The Department of Civil Engineering at NFC Institute of Engineering & Technology was established in Fall 2013 with the aim of producing competent, innovative, and ethically responsible engineers capable of addressing modern infrastructure challenges. Since its inception, the department has focused on high-quality education, applied research, and strong industry collaboration in alignment with the vision of NFC-IET.

In September 2017, the department adopted the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) system to align its teaching and assessment framework with international standards. The B.Sc. Civil Engineering program is accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under Level-II (OBE system), substantially equivalent to the Washington Accord ensuring global recognition of the program’s standards and graduate attributes.
