The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Multan serves as the central hub for promoting research excellence, fostering innovation, and building strong industry-academia linkages. Established with the vision to transform academic research into real-world solutions, ORIC at NFC IET is committed to creating a dynamic environment where faculty, students, and researchers are encouraged to explore new ideas, develop technologies, and contribute to national growth.

To enhanced the capacity of researchers at NFCIET for quality research, link the research with industry and society and to provide a conducive platform where research-based solutions can take place.

• Research Facilitation: Support faculty and students in developing research proposals, securing funding, and publishing in high-impact journals.
• Innovation Support: Encourage a culture of creativity and problem-solving through student projects, research exhibitions, and innovation challenges.
• Commercialization: Bridge the gap between academia and industry by helping convert research outputs into marketable products and services.
• Collaborations and MoUs: Establish linkages with industrial partners, research institutions, and government agencies to promote joint ventures and knowledge sharing.
• Entrepreneurship Promotion: Guide aspiring entrepreneurs through mentorship, incubation support, and startup development programs.

It gives me immense pleasure to lead the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at NFC IET Multan a hub committed to empowering faculty, researchers, and students to transform knowledge into impact. At ORIC, our mission is to cultivate a vibrant research culture, foster innovation, and build strong industry-academia linkages.
