Dr. Naeem Aslam is a distinguished academic leader and researcher with over 22 years of experience in Computer Science, currently serving as the Head of Department (Computer Science) at NFC-IET, Multan. He earned his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics in 2016 from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. He has spearheaded the launch of BSCS (2008), MSCS (2017), and BSSE (2022) programs, and established key initiatives including the e-Rozgaar Lab and NAVTTC accreditation. Dr. Aslam has also led major institutional automation projects such as the Admission Portal, Automated Entry Test Assessment (OMR) System, and centralized Examination & Grading System. An active researcher with over 60 peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals including IEEE Access, Evolutionary Bioinformatics, and BioMed Research International, he specializes in Machine Learning (CNN/LSTM), Data Science, and Computational Biology, with expertise in Java, Python, R, and advanced database management, while also mentoring postgraduate research and holding significant administrative responsibilities.
