Dr. Muhammad Punhal Saheto is a distinguished Mechanical Engineer and academician with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (China) and extensive experience in teaching, research, and advanced engineering applications. A registered engineer with PEC (MECH/19629), he has strong expertise in aerostatic bearings, precision engineering, renewable energy systems, microgrids, advanced manufacturing, and materials engineering. Dr. Saheto has an impressive international research portfolio with publications in high-impact journals such as IEEE Access, Results in Engineering, Micromachines, Renewable Energy, and The International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology. Experience
Dr. Saheto is currently serving as Assistant Professor at NFC-IET Multan (June 2024 – Present), actively contributing to academic development and research advancement. Prior to this, he served as Assistant Professor at the University of Lahore (Feb 2015 – June 2024) and as Lecturer (Feb 2009 – Jan 2015), where he was engaged in teaching, curriculum development, postgraduate supervision, and research leadership. He also worked as a Visiting Lecturer at COMSATS Lahore (Sep 2009 – Feb 2019). With over 15 years of academic experience, he has consistently contributed to innovation-driven research, international collaborations, and the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
