Engr. Dr. Tehreem Awan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology. She holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and is working in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Biomedical Image & Signal Processing, with a focus on classification techniques and Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs). With over 15 years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Awan has supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate students and has published and co-authored several research articles in her field. She serves as the Convener of the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Committee and Coordinator of Final Year Projects, playing a key role in enhancing academic quality and research culture within the department. In addition, she is actively engaged in professional and social initiatives as Chair of the IEEE Student Sub-Branch at NFC IET. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and the responsible use of technology to benefit society.
