UET Lahore – Combined Entrance Test 2026
The University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Lahore announces the Combined Entrance Test (ECAT) 2026 – First Attempt for admission to B.Sc. Engineering, Computing, and related disciplines in public and private engineering institutions of Punjab.
Orientation Session
An orientation session for familiarization with the computer-based test will be held on:
Saturday, March 28, 2026
At the allotted test center mentioned on the admit card.
Entrance Test Schedule
The Combined Entrance Test will be conducted from:
Monday to Friday, March 30, 2026 to April 03, 2026
Test Level and Subjects

Test level: Intermediate (or equivalent)

Duration: 100 minutes

No negative marking

No passing threshold (merit-based admission)

Eligibility
Anyone may appear in the entrance test; however, appearing in the test does not guarantee admission to engineering institutions.
Application Fee & Payment

Entrance test fee: Rs. 3,000

Applications must be submitted online via admission.uet.edu.pk

Fee payment can be made through HBL or UBL (online banking, mobile app, or branch)

Test Centers
The entrance test will be conducted at multiple centers across Punjab, including:
Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Taxila, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi, Narowal, and Gujrat

Candidates must bring a valid photo ID on the test day, such as:
