Promoting a drug-free campus, responsible choices, and a healthier future for Pakistan.
Multan: NFC Institute of Engineering & Technology (NFC-IET), Multan, reaffirmed its commitment to promoting a drug-free society by joining hands with the Punjab Counter Narcotics Force (CNF), Multan Division, for an Anti-Narcotics Awareness Campaign aimed at educating young people about the harmful effects of narcotics and encouraging healthy, responsible lifestyles.
Leadership and Collaboration
Vice Chancellor NFC-IET, Prof. Dr. Shabbar Atiq, warmly welcomed Col. (R) Waqar Azam TI (M), Director, Punjab Counter Narcotics Force, Multan Division, and appreciated the Force's efforts to educate young people about the dangers of drug abuse and promote a healthier, safer society.
The collaboration highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between educational institutions and law enforcement agencies to protect students from substance abuse through awareness, guidance, and community engagement.
Engaging Students in the Mission
The Directorate of Student Affairs, NFC-IET, actively contributed to the campaign by engaging students in awareness activities and encouraging them to play a positive role in preventing drug abuse. The initiative emphasized that informed decisions, peer support, and a responsible campus culture are essential to protecting the future of young people.
As a meaningful expression of student commitment, a Computer Science student presented a specially created painting to the Director CNF, highlighting the message:
“Drug-Free NFC-IET Multan & Drug-Free Pakistan”
Building a Drug-Free Pakistan
The campaign underscored the importance of collective efforts to protect young people from the harmful consequences of narcotics and foster a culture of awareness, responsibility, and well-being. Through such initiatives, NFC-IET Multan continues to promote a safe and healthy educational environment while empowering students to contribute positively to society.
Together, We Say NO to Drugs and YES to a Healthy, Safe, and Prosperous Future.
