The Department of Food Science & Technology at NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology successfully organized “Fuel The Future: Nutrition Product Competition”, promoting a holistic approach toward health, nutrition, and wellness under the inspiring theme “Eat Smart, Live Better.”
The event brought together students, faculty members, and industry experts to explore innovative ideas and emerging trends in the field of nutrition science. The competition featured engaging discussions and presentations on important contemporary topics including microbiome health, functional foods, personalized nutrition, plant-based diets, and nutritional psychology.
Participants showcased creative nutrition-based products and research concepts aimed at promoting healthier lifestyles and sustainable food solutions.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shabbar Atiq visited the event and appreciated the students and participants for their innovative ideas, dedication, and enthusiasm toward advancing nutritional awareness and wellness.
The department also extended special thanks to guest speaker Prof. Dr. Tauseef Sultan for sharing valuable insights and expert knowledge with the participants.
Appreciation was also conveyed to the organizing committee led by Engr. Dr. M. Subhan Azeem and Dr. Aimen Shabbir for successfully arranging and managing the event.
